Paths Itinerary

A series of paths linking shoreline to hamlet characterize Castro.

Nowadays they have been redeveloped and people can enjoy a stroll immersed in nature and history since the paths are rich in culture and breathtaking panoramas.

A round-shaped route allows you to have a daylong walk around Castro!

Walking the city walls you will enjoy an itinerary aroud the old fortified walls of the old civitas. Here you will see the shoreline panorama, the towers, the messapian walls, Capanne and Palombara the archaeological sites and the castle. All along the route it is possible to meet other paths, like the fishermen's one, “palombara” and other to reach the seasides, the Zinzulusa cave, the golden medal monument.

Other itineraries in the nature cross the city and the park of oaks, the green lung of Castro.
